We currently require a Account Manager / Sales Engineer working within the West Midlands area to cover a variety of clients ranging from OEM's, specifiers, architects, M&E consultants and M&E Contractors. Clients are typically from the Banking, IT, Telecomms, Building Control, Printing, Plastics, Chemical and Pharmaceutical sectors. The products are highly engineered for a variety of commercial and industrial chiller, air conditioning, HVAC, VRF, VRV and Close Control applications so require Sales Engineers with an advanced understanding of air conditioning technology, electrical engineering & mechanical engineering and ideally having worked in the Industrial Air Conditioning field or indeed a closely related field such as UPS, turbines, heat exchange equipment or other facilities based capital equipment. The ability to present and sell engineer-to-engineer is vital as is the ability to maintain visibility of upcoming projects throughout the city and maintaining brand awareness with the client. Order values will range from as little as £10k up to hundreds of thousands, and significant support will be available by internal sales staff with most key clients and accounts already known. Candidates will also be expected to demonstrate the ability to take an element of financial responsibility particularly for margin and profitability.

There is continued growth and consequently recruitment for Sales Account Managers in the West Midlands region. My client is both a professional and supportive business investing in people and regarded as having a high staff retention.
My client offers a strong financial package including a base salary circa £37-45k, car allowance and OTE bonus circa £5-10K.
