JOB SPECIFICATION - INTERNAL SALES ENGINEER
My client is exploiting the exciting new opportunities for man machine interface products presented by advances in New Media, especially the Internet.
Their customers are forward thinking electronic equipment manufacturers within the UK producing online gambling booths, loyalty card kiosks and a multitude of interactive information kiosks.
The suppliers are the best in the world - literally - gathered from the Far East, Europe and USA - all are committed producing the best products and providing total support to their customers.
Their products include leading edge smart card technology and the most extensive range of thermal mini-printers.
My clients commitment to customer satisfaction and their continued success means that they have a vacancy for a technically qualified internal sales engineer.
The successful applicant will have the ability to communicate at all levels by telephone, letter or email. In return, they offer a stimulating environment where initiative and success are valued and rewarded.
Remuneration will include salary and commission commensurate with age and experience. In addition they offer private health insurance, non-contributory pension and the further benefits associated with a modern and progressive organisation. For the right applicant, a company car could also be offered.
Applicants will have a minimum of 3 years experience within a manufacturing or distribution environment. Whilst sales experience is desirable, candidates with a background in electronic design or repair will not be discounted. Preference will be given to candidates with a recognised technical qualification. A HND in Electronics will be a considerable advantage.
My client will provide comprehensive and on-going product training while you will supply the enthusiasm and skills to develop their market intelligence and generate new business. Your style will assist the organisation to retain and develop existing relationships.
